Exterior Detailing Processes

We begin our details with a wheel and tire cleaning as they are the dirtiest part of the vehicle and can spread to our freshly washed paint from cleaning if we wait till later.

After the wheels are cleaned we apply our initial foam bath to soak in to dirt and debris before rinsing for the first time, this loosens more debris than merely spraying off the vehicle with water.

A second foam bath is then performed and our hand wash with high quality microfiber mitts begins, always using mitts that were just washed, dried and prepared for that day.

After our gentle hand wash is complete there can often be a variety of contaminants present such as tar, iron particles, road paint overspray and a variety of others. We use a combination of clay barring and chemicals to remove these contaminants  for a smooth and blemish free appearance.

Though we don’t technically even need to since we use De-Ionized spotless water we still thoroughly dry the vehicle with large twist lock technology drying towels to prep for a coating, wax or polish.

With our Paint Enhancement (Diamond Package light polish) we use a light polish aiming to remove 50% – 70% of scratches, offering the best bang for buck paired with our 1 year ceramic coating.

If you are looking for a more focused scratch, defect and swirl removal from the paint we offer 1 & 2 step paint corrections aimed at 80% – 100% scratch removal. Be advised this is often an all day process just for the exterior.

Once the surface is properly cleaned and decontaminated we move on to protecting your now restored, beautiful and glossy exterior. Using anywhere from our standard 3 month sealant, or our 5 or 10 year 9H hardness warrantied ceramic coatings to keep your vehicle clean longer, easier to clean when it finally gets dirty and more resistant to swirls and damage from contaminants 

Using similar processes to our paint correction steps we polish down the faded and often oxidized headlight surface and seal it to give your headlights new life

Using a water based tire shine we make your tires look like new without the mess other tire dressings cause to the paint.

Trim dressing comes standard with our diamond packages and makes your rubber and plastic trim pieces look like new but is not a semi permanent solution like our trim ceramic coating which is highly hydrophobic and extremely long lasting and offered as an add on option to any exterior detail.
